In Memory of John Brady

John was a Rotarian in the true sense of the word.    As a Rotarian for 30+ year John believed so much in the Rotary's International thinking of "peace and understanding" and "Service Above Self" that he dedicate much of his time to Rotary Youth Exchange.    He was a member of the Youth Exchange Committee of District 7430 for 20+ years and participated in ESSEX for many years as a Country Contact, Board of Directors member and ESSEX Outbound Coordinator.      His first thought was always "the student".  He was a dedicated Youth Exchange Officer, he was a shoulder to cry on, (or vent on), an ear that listened, a great advisor but most of all he was a friend.     He will be missed.

John's family has asked that donations be made to ESSEX Scholarship Fund:

checks can be made payable to ESSEX Scholarship and mailed to:

Allen Smith, ESSEX Treasurer,   PO Box 7592, Steelton,  PA  17113

"JOHN A. BRADY, of Blue Bell, age 59, died suddenly on Dec. 27, 2010. He was the beloved husband of 32 years to Diane; devoted father of Marissa Luttrell (Corey), Matthew (Lauren) and Stephen and the loving grandfather of Lilah. Also survived by his sisters, Mary McSherry (Jim) and Marcy and his dog, Riley. John owned Costello Bros. and Brady in Erdenheim and was an active member of the Rotary Club of Springfield Twp.-Flourtown.   He was also very involved in the Rotary Youth Exchange and Essex. John was a retired PIAA soccer referee and enjoyed supporting youth athletics."
